This Neoceram™ glass is used in stoves, fire places, and other heating appliances. It is a clear Glass-Ceramic that is resistant to thermal shock and heat resistant nearly 3x more than standard tempered glass.
3/16" (5mm) thick silica coated ceramic glass. Available up to 44" x 78" maximum size.
Withstands continuous temperatures up to 1292 degrees Fahrenheit (versus 428 degrees of tempered soda lime glass). Almost zero thermal expansion coefficient. The heat resistance also does not diminish over time like other glass products in the category.
