FireLite-IGU (Insulated Glass Unit) Standard is a fire-rated glass unit made with industry-leading ceramic material. FireLite-IGU Standard is manufactured for fire rating applications requiring the Hose Stream Test and Positive Pressure Tests (UL 10C). This product also meets proper permanent UL labeling as required per IBC and NFPA under Ray-Bar's UL file# R38927. FireLite-IGU Glass Ceramic Insulated Glass Units Features and Options
- Fire-rated up to 90 minutes with required Hose Stream Test under Ray-Bar's UL file# R38927.
- Passes the Positive Pressure Test standards of UL 10C, UBC 7-2 and UBC 7-4
- Withstands sudden Thermal Shock due to exposure to cool sprinkler system water or fire hoses.
- Provides a clean, clear view and is completely wireless.

"Standard Grade" FireLite-IGU products are meticulously polished to achieve a smoother surface quality compared to most other alternate fire-rated ceramics currently offered on the market, even those advertised as "premium." This level of polish typically meets or exceeds the optical quality expectations and requirements of more than 80%+ of projects.

FireLite fire-rated insulated glass units offer dual-purpose functionality in fire protective ratings of 20, 30, 45, 60, and up to 90 minutes and additional performance options, including the following options:

Applications for FireLite-IGU Fire Rated Glass
Ray-Bar's FireLite-NT-IGUs and FireLite+Plus-IGUs are manufactured to meet the impact-resistant requirements specified by IBC 2406 "Safety Glazing," as well as the standards outlined in ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16 CFR 1201 Cat II. These specifications make FireLite-IGU Standard suitable for installation into doors, walls, partitions, and hazardous locations in certain fire-rated wall openings in commercial, industrial, and municipal settings.
